The RCP's prestigious lecturer scheme for trainee physicians celebrating the life and achievements of Professor Dame Margaret Turner-Warwick, our first female president.
Winning trainees will be able to reach beyond their specialty and present their lecture to a wide range of specialists and future collaborators.
The lectures will be presented at our Update in Medicine conferences and lecturers will receive a plaque from the RCP president.
All winning lecture abstracts will be considered by the editorial teams of the RCP journals with the potential of expanding into full journal articles and publication in one of our peer reviewed journals, Clinical Medicine or the Future Healthcare Journal.
The next Turner-Warwick lecturer scheme is planned for 2026 and we will be opening for abstract submissions in 2025. Please check back here for details of the application process and submission deadline.
