Navigating the Portfolio Pathway (CESR route)

Participants talking

The 'Navigating the Portfolio Pathway' workshop offers practical advice and guidance for doctors of all specialties who are considering applying specialist registration via the portfolio pathway (previously known as the Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration (CESR) pathway).

I was especially glad of the update to the new PP (vs old CESR) system, and I was prompted to study the latest version of my SSG. I am pleased to note the new system seems a lot more user friendly and somewhat less daunting than the old.

Dr Gavin Ross

Locum consultant physician, Withybush Hospital, Pembrokeshire

The RCP provides RCP accreditation for several of our established programmes and also extends the opportunity to learners on commissioned and bespoke programmes.

The format for achieving RCP accreditation is to participate in the workshop(s) or programme and then submit a short reflective assignment for review by a member of the RCP faculty.

There is no need to apply separately for the RCP accreditation, simply book onto the relevant workshop(s) or programmes in order to be automatically enrolled for the accreditation.
