The courses were well-delivered with an easy to follow and comprehensive programme. We were very impressed by the senior and well-respected tutors the RCP were able to provide to deliver the courses, and feedback from the attendees has been extremely positive, so much so that we had to triple the number of places booked to keep up with the ensuing demand!

In the UK and internationally
We can deliver our programmes across the UK and for international clients.
Programmes can be delivered online or face-to-face, either at the RCP venues in London or Liverpool, or on-site at a venue of your choosing.
Trusted by healthcare organisations worldwide
Internationally we have vast experience of delivering bespoke in-person programmes adapted to the local healthcare structures. We’ve partnered with many international healthcare organisations to deliver impactful training. Our programmes are adaptable to local contexts and organisational goals. Recent partnerships include delivering professional development programmes in Brunei, Dubai, Iceland, India, Malaysia, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Switzerland and the USA.
Off-the-shelf or bespoke
We can either deliver our ‘off-the-shelf’ CPD approved workshops and in-depth programmes, or these can be customised and developed for specific commissioner needs. Our commissioned programmes are co-designed with healthcare organisations to address specific challenges and goals. Whether you're developing clinical leadership, enhancing teaching skills, or supporting new consultants, we deliver CPD-accredited training that makes a difference.
A few examples:
- The ‘effective teaching skills’ programme is usually a two-day workshop, but we can deliver an abridged version in one-day, or spread-out the delivery into four half-day sessions
- A five-day in-depth leadership programme can be tailored to a specific specialty, (such as our award-nominated programme for the GIRFT Stroke team) and delivered across the year, or as,
- an intensive residential programme delivered with networking dinners and opportunity for ongoing mentoring support.
Online programmes
Online programmes are most suited when there are large numbers of learners, and/or a learning need which need repeating on a regular basis (such as annual training).
Working with our technology enhanced learning (TEL) team we can design, build and host online courses for clients. Learners can undertake the training at their own convenience, working through the programme at a time that suits them.
Using quizzes, video, animation, and many other ways to make the learning interactive and engaging, we can develop CPD approved content to provide a standardised and easily accessible online course.
“Following the delivery of workshops offered by the RCP, I have noticed SAS doctors within the KSS deanery have an improved confidence and enthusiasm for their educational roles, with a notable desire in many to become educational supervisors.”

SAS project lead Kent Surrey and Sussex Deanery (KSS)

Include an RCP accreditation
The RCP provides accreditations for several of our established programmes and also extends this opportunity to learners on commissioned and bespoke programmes. RCP accreditations available include:
- RCP educator accreditation
- RCP educational supervisor accreditation
- RCP leadership accreditation.
Event management support
The RCP can work with you to take responsibility for the event administration aspects of delivering a commissioned programme. “I thought the workshop was brilliant, especially the knowledgeable speakers who brought the content to life and kept it relevant to doctors using real examples……
On a personal note, I found the workshops useful to reflect on what I am doing, and what I should be doing. The workshops removed my fear of failure and psychologically gave me more confidence. I have subsequently taken on my new role of Associate Dean for SAS doctors within the Oxford Deanery which I accredit to the training delivered by the RCP.”
Dr Peter Tun
Associate Dean for SAS doctors in the Oxford Deanery
