Communication skills for PACES

By the end of this workshop, you will be able to:

• Communicate with improved clarity, accuracy and impact
• Recognise relevant communication models and techniques applicable to different clinical scenarios and PACES stations
• Reflect on the GMC definition of effective communication skills in relation to your personal skills and identify areas for development
• Identify and apply effective communication strategies to help navigate difficult conversations with empathy and professionalism
• Practise and apply new communication techniques during interactive sessions, facilitated by our experienced medical educationalists
