Job planning and and navigating conflict
Designed for senior clinicians stepping into or currently holding the role of dlinical director, this 1-day workshop supports delegates in making the transition from theoretical responsibilities to the practical application of strategic operational management.
This interactive workshop explores the opportunities and challenges of service level planning, with a focus on balancing demand and capacity, and understanding how to use service level data to frame difficult conversations.
New for 2026, this workshop complements the existing Role of the clinical director workshop. Delegates can attend the two workshops in any order.

- Apply a structured approach to navigate challenging job planning discussions.Lead discussions that balance individual consultant aspirations with the collective needs of the department.
- Draw on professional standards and data to support constructive, transparent conversations, even when addressing challenging issues or differing expectations.
This leadership development workshop is grounded in practical, real-world scenarios and aligned with the demands of modern clinical leadership in the NHS.
