2025 Q4 exchange

The Fracture Liaison Service Database (FLS-DB) supports local services in using their data to identify areas for improvement, plan changes and measure impact. Recognising that time for service development is limited, this session focused on how involving patients and caregivers can enhance care and strengthen the effectiveness of an FLS. During the event, we explored: • why patient involvement matters • what meaningful engagement looks like • how to make it happen locally. The session provided practical ideas and support for teams experiencing challenges with involving patients in either established or newly developed FLS pathways. The event was led by Prof Kassim Javaid, FLS-DB clinical lead, and included time for questions and discussion.
