Wales primary care clinical audit report 23-25

This report presents results from analysis of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) primary care data in Wales from the Welsh primary care audit component of the National Respiratory Audit Programme (NRAP). Data were obtained from 371 general practices in Wales in August 2025 and captured activity between 1 August 2023 - 31 July 2025.

This report consolidates the key findings and national recommendations emerging from the 2023-25 Welsh primary care audit. It builds upon the metrics previously presented in the 2021-23 audit, offering comparative cohort analysis and contextual narrative to highlight the relevance of these indicators to healthcare service delivery and improvement.
