RCP survey on digital health

What we are doing

We are now launching a survey on digital health to help us understand your needs. What we learn will inform the RCP’s digital health work for the next two years to support members and fellows who may be at risk of digital exclusion and those who are developing a career in digital health.

Dr Anne Kinderlerer, RCP’s Digital Health Clinical Lead said:

“Digital health means different things to different people. It’s easy to conflate digital health with technology, but digital health also encompasses the processes that embed that technology into clinical pathways and the people that use it or are affected by it. Digital health is just healthcare in which we use digital clinical systems to deliver care. Patients and staff are central and are affected by digital systems and processes. I am looking forward to hearing from members and fellows through this survey to understand their needs related to digital health and how the RCP can support them.”

Key questions

The survey seeks views from members and fellows about your:

•    levels of digital familiarity
•    ability to use digital clinical systems and influence their design so that systems fit the needs of your role
•    ability to use data from digital clinical systems for improvement, operational management and research
•    thoughts on what training would be useful in digital health
•    appetite for being part of an RCP network focused on digital health.

You can access the survey here: RCP Digital Health Survey. The deadline for completing the survey is Sunday 19 November 2023. We look forward to hearing from you.
