Update on MRCP(UK) Part 2 examination 2023/03

Following the news from the Federation of Royal Colleges of Physicians of the UK that incorrect results had been issued to 283 candidates who sat the part 2 written examination in September 2023, the RCP has been focusing all its efforts on the response to supporting the candidates affected.

Resident doctor committees write to appeal the decision to exclude resident doctors impacted by MRCP(UK) Part 2 marking error from the current higher specialty recruitment round

Today the resident doctor committees of the three royal colleges of physicians have written to the statutory education bodies (SEBs), appealing their decision not to allow those affected by the MRCP(UK) part 2 exam issues to progress into higher specialty training from the recent recruitment round.
