Organisational audit 2022-24

The NRAP organisational audit report 2024 details information on the resourcing and organisation of asthma and COPD care in hospitals, and PR services in England and Wales. The data collection for the audit ran from 26 February to 29 March 2024. The audit collected cohort data from 1 April 2022 to 31 March 2023 for admissions information, and here static data snapshots were required, for example number of beds, this was taken from September 2023. Staffing information was contemporaneous snapshot of the data from early 2024. The report uses wholly completed data submitted from 425 hospitals/services in England and Wales. This report includes five national recommendations relevant to key decision makers and commissioners.

The leaflet outlines the benefits of a Fracture Liaison Service (FLS) for men who have suffered a fragility fracture, emphasising the importance of early diagnosis and treatment to improve bone health and reduce the risk of future fractures. Men are often less likely to seek help after a fracture, despite having a higher mortality rate and potential underlying health issues following a fracture.
