Clinical fellows

Fellows gain leadership experience via the RCP resident doctors committee, by supporting the RCP President at regional meetings and other events, and through working alongside RCP staff, officers and clinical volunteers on high profile national projects.

For example, Dr Quraishi supported the development of the new Internal Medicine Stage 1 curriculum; Dr Basheer carried significant responsibility in relation to launching the 2019-20 pilot of the HEE Flexible Portfolio Training pathway; Dr Esara worked on the initial scoping of new credentials for Obstetric Medicine physicians. This was continued by Dr Alderman, with a focus on the creation of criteria for the recognition of obstetric medicine centres in England. Dr Alderman has also supported the development of our virtual PACES revision programme and physician associate question bank
