Christmas lecture 2024: under the influence (online only)

The festive season is almost here, and with it, the eagerly awaited RCP Christmas lecture!

This year, we’ll be joined by Dr Chris van Tulleken, infectious diseases doctor at the Hospital for Tropical Diseases, UCLH and Dr Xand van Tulleken, associate professor in public heath, UCL.

The twin brothers are also known for their work on the BBC, where they host the BAFTA award-winning series ‘Operation Ouch!’ 

The lecture is aimed at 12-18 year olds, and will improve their understanding of public health and the impact of commercial determinants including alcohol, tobacco, fossil fuels and food.
