We look forward to welcoming delegates to this one-day Update in medicine conference.

This is a full-day conference – registration will open from 8.15am until 9.15am. Refreshments and lunch are provided. We expect the event to finish at approximately 5.00pm. Please note we require a minimum of 48 hours' notice to cater for specific dietary requirements.

Topics will include:

• Dermatology - rash
• Lung cancer screening update
• Keynote session: the changing landscape of HIV epidemiology and management
• Cardiology - arrhythmias and electro physiology
• Irritable bowel disease – luminal / liver
• Update on stroke.

As well as hearing from leading physicians across the medical specialties, you can participate in Q&A sessions and enjoy the opportunity to network with senior RCP officers and with your peers.

RCP Update in medicine conferences are held across the UK and are delivered by the RCP regional team. These events are designed to provide high-quality education and allow attendees to stay abreast of clinical advancements in medicine, develop professional skills and network with colleagues.

Parking at Hinxton Hall conference centre can be limited and is allocated on a first come, first served basis. Where possible we recommend you seek alternative travel arrangements, for instance car sharing with any colleagues in attendance, or using the free shuttle bus from Whittlesford Parkway train station.

The campus is also on various cycle routes. Please visit the website for more information.

Cambridge is the closest railway hub, it is on both the London King’s Cross and the London Liverpool Street line, and also serves trains coming from the north. It is a short transfer to Whittlesford Parkway.
