The FLS-DB team has developed two starter packs to provide an overview of the audit. One for newly registered services or those keen to learn more about FLS-DB and another condensed leaflet, which provides a shorter overview of the audit and more tailored for patients.
For Fracture Liaison Services
This pack provides a comprehensive overview of the audit. Including key areas of the audit such as how data is fed back to services and the resources available for patients and carers. If you or your colleagues would like to learn more about the audit, this pack serves as a starting point. The pack is divided into several sections:
- About FLS-DB: Introduces the aim of the FLS-DB and the purpose of fracture liaison services
- Accessing the FLS-DB: explains how to gain access to the FLS-DB and provides essential information on using the database
- How is data fed back to services: details on how to utilise the information from the FLS-DB to identify areas where services can improve and track their progress.
- Using the FLS-DB for service improvements: offers an overview of resources created by FLS-DB and strategies that services can implement for improvement.
- Overview of FFFAP: provides an overview of the other two workstreams within the FFFAP and including our patient and carer panel.
