Vinay is a third-year medical student at Queen’s University Belfast.
Vinay is grateful to represent Northern Ireland on the SFDN Committee and is committed to serving as a proactive voice for medical students and foundation doctors. He aims to support professional development opportunities, research involvement, and educational resources, ensuring that trainees are well-equipped to navigate their professional journeys.
Vinay is passionate about advocating for the unique needs of students and junior doctors in education and training policies ensuring their perspectives shape solutions to existing and future challenges.
In his role, he aims to strengthen support from the RCP for the next generation of clinicians, promote mentorship opportunities and contribute towards a supportive and inclusive environment. He is committed to facilitating collaboration among trainees to tackle challenges collectively, reduce barriers, and foster engagement with the RCP, empowering trainees to build confidence and prepare for fulfilling careers.
