Who should attend?

This face to face new consultants forum offers practical help and support for new consultants in their first five years of being in post, SAS doctors and senior registrars in their final year of training.

The programme for this meeting is worth 3 CPD credits. It has been compiled by RCP New Consultants Committee representatives Dr Violeta Razanskaite and Dr Dhivya Das and will be available to download shortly.

Please note, delegates are welcome and encouraged to attend regardless of work or home location. A light lunch will be provided.

The following fees apply for this face to face forum:

RCP subscribing members: £25

Standard fee: non-subscribing members: £35

Networking and light refreshments will begin at 11.30am followed by lunch at 1pm in the Atrium. Talks begin on floor 12 in spaces 8&9 from 1pm and the event will conclude at around 4.30pm.

New Consultants Committee

These short meetings are hosted by members of the RCP New Consultants Committee (NCC). This group is comprised of new consultants who are working in the NHS and whose date of first consultant appointment was less than five years ago.

You do not have to be an RCP subscribing member to attend this event, but you may wish to consider becoming a member and benefiting from discounted registration fees.

Whilst the content is aimed at physicians, other healthcare professionals may find some of the talks and discussion to be useful and are welcome at these events.
