Stronger inside and out: mental wellbeing and broken bones from osteoporosis

This leaflet highlights the often-overlooked impact of osteoporosis on mental wellbeing. Developed by the Fracture Liaison Service Database, it offers support for those who may feel anxious, isolated, or uncertain following a diagnosis. The leaflet provides practical advice, reassurance, and signposts to trusted mental health services and organisations. It aims to help patients understand they are not alone, and that looking after emotional wellbeing is just as important as managing bone health.
